Refresh Your Google Drive Cache

If you're using Google drive and you happen to notice when using file explorer that you cannot see files or folders that others in your organization can see then you may be having a issue with the Google Cache.  This problem is pretty easy to fix and of anything can be quite annoying. The steps below will reset your cache and get you back to full operation.

These are the steps to disconnect and reconnect Google drive app
  • On your computer, open Drive for the desktop.
  • Click Settings. Preferences.
  • Click Settings. and find the account you want to disconnect.
  • Click Disconnect account.
  • If you have files that are in the process of being uploaded, you'll be prompted to wait for them to sync.
  • Sign in again.
